Above is a YouTube video that summarizes world history |
XOFOS
A
learning technique that focuses on long term memory
retention. Most people go to school and cram lots of
information into their short term memory just to pass
the exams. It is basically just a game of memorizing and
forgetting. By the time they graduate they forget
most of the information they have learn. XOFOS on the
other hand is learning for the sake of genuine interest
in the subject and adding that information to the
permanent knowledge base in your brain.
History of the World Backbone
Many people find history the most boring subject
in school. When I was a kid in school, I remember that
history could sometimes be interesting if the teacher
had a passion for history and explained her lessons like
a story. Other times, I had teachers that turned it into
a task of memorizing names and dates. The human mind was
designed to understand relationships between people and
events, but you have to present it in such a way that
you open the door of the students interest. One tool
that I found to be very useful is creating a backbone,
foundation, or an organizational tree for the students
before the history detail is to be consumed by the
students.
